Little Servants of the Cross - Vocations

Welcome About Us Vocations Contact Us

"I then, a prisoner for the Lord, urge you to live in a manner
worthy of the call you have received."
Eph. 4:1

The first step of our vocation in formation as "Little Servants of the Cross" is to become "Little." To become little means to become small, so that with Jesus we may love others unconditionally. In the eyes of the world, to be small suggests weakness, yet in the eyes of God it means to become humble. Our human nature always desires the last word, desires to be right, and refuses to give in - but in the end it only adds to pride. God cannot speak to the proud heart; he only speaks to the humble heart. In the face of persecution, in the face of being humiliated, in the face of criticisms, in the face of hatred, in the face of violence, we must pray hard to practice humility - for this leads to holiness.

         CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

Each candidate must be between the ages of 18 and 45 years old, free of dependents, of a good disposition, a practicing Catholic, and serious about the call to live a consecrated life in community.

   "COME AND SEE"

"Behold, I am the handmaid of the Lord..."

Is Jesus calling you to the consecrated life? We invite all single women from the East, South, West, and North to "come and see" if God may be calling you to serve Him among the Native nations.

Each candidate must make a "Come and See" visit of one week. This visit will allow each candidate to do the following:
